Job summary

Infinity Quest Limited is seeking a senior software engineer to lead backend initiatives in a cloud-first environment. You will design scalable data pipelines and own critical services from development through deployment.

The role requires 10+ years of experience with Java/Spring Boot and hands-on AWS, including Lambda, ECS, Glue, and RDS. Collaboration across teams and strong problem-solving are essential.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.

• Understanding of data engineering across Bronze/Silver/Gold layers.
• Experience with Kafka or Amazon MSK.
• Terraform and infrastructure-as-code experience.
• GitLab for source control.
• Familiarity with anomaly-detection concepts in data.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• Degree or equivalent professional background in Computer Science
• Strong hands-on development experience with Java
• Strong experience developing with Spring Boot
• Practical experience designing and deploying solutions on AWS
• Hands-on experience with AWS Lambda, ECS, Glue, RDS and compute services
• Strong understanding of data engineering including progression of data across Bronze, Silver and Gold layers
• Experience with Kafka and/or Amazon MSK (Managed Streaming for Kafka)
• Experience with Terraform and infrastructure as code
• Experience using GitLab for source control
• Understanding of anomaly-detection concepts and their application to operational or transactional data
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
