Job summary

Version 1 is seeking an experienced Java Developer to join our team. This role requires experience in Java development, AWS, database management, and batch processing. You will contribute to designing, developing, and maintaining applications that meet business needs.

You will work with cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, reliable software while maintaining high code quality in a flexible/remote environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
• 5+ years’ experience as a Java Developer in a product development or services environment
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, and Event Bus
• Experience with relational databases (e.g. Oracle, MySQL, PostgreSQL), including SQL and performance troubleshooting
• Proficiency in Java, Spring Framework, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Clear verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
