Job summary

Akkodis is seeking Software Engineers to join a collaborative Agile team developing next-generation cloud-based applications. Based at a client site in Surrey or North East England with a hybrid model of 3 days onsite and 2 days from home, you will contribute across the full software development lifecycle from architecture and design through to testing, deployment and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Experience developing software with Java.
• Experience building cloud-based applications or services.
• Experience working in an Agile development environment.
• Willingness and eligibility to obtain UK clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop software using Java and cloud technologies.
• Build and improve cloud-based applications and services.
• Write clean, reliable and maintainable code.
• Create reusable solutions to improve team productivity.
• Write unit tests and support automated testing.
• Participate in design and code reviews to maintain high quality.
• Ensure applications are secure, scalable and well documented.
