Rise Technical Recruitment Limited is seeking a Software Developer in Blackburn to join a market-leading digital systems company. You will develop Java-based software using Spring Boot and Hibernate, working with MySQL or PostgreSQL databases, and using Git for version control.

The role focuses on code quality, collaboration with customers, and continuous improvement, with clear progression toward senior technical expert.

Qualifications

• Experience with Java and Spring Boot in a commercial setting.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL and version control with Git.
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming concepts and design patterns.

Responsibilities

• Review development processes and improve code efficiency.
• Collaborate with the team to manage and resolve tickets.
• Develop using Java, Spring Boot, Hibernate, MySQL and Git.
• Contribute to architecture planning and new product development.
• Work onsite, Monday to Friday 8:30–17:00.
