Job summary

IDEMIA in Winnersh, UK is seeking a Java Software Developer with 1.5–4 years of commercial Java experience to design, develop and maintain secure back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.

You will build RESTful APIs, work with PostgreSQL, collaborate with a small engineering team, and contribute to technical design discussions while following security standards and best practices.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years professional experience in Java development and strong OO skills.
• Experience with Spring Boot and REST APIs.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or relational databases; familiar with Git.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain secure back-end services using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs aligned to clean architecture and secure coding standards.
• Write high-quality, production-ready code that meets functional and non-functional requirements.
• Collaborate with senior engineers on requirements analysis, estimations and design discussions.
• Document technical solutions and support junior developers where needed.
