As a Java Backend Developer, you'll work in a small team of talented developers, playing a crucial role in delivering internal and external projects and collaborating with other departments. This role will give you exposure to IBM technologies, where you will use them extensively to deliver integration solutions and grow your technical knowledge.

Job Description:

1. Development: Develop well-documented and tested software components according to defined specifications.
2. Consulting: Work on multiple client projects, providing end-to-end solutions to software issues.
3. Products: Understand and support IBM products.
4. Software Testing: Conduct thorough testing and debugging of software applications to ensure they meet functional and performance requirements. Identify and resolve software defects and issues.
5. Documentation: Create and maintain technical documentation, including software architecture, design documents, and user manuals. Ensure documentation is up-to-date and accessible to the team.
6. Knowledge: Understand fundamental networking principles and multi-tiered architectures.
7. Collaboration and Communication: Effectively communicate and collaborate with developers, designers, and project stakeholders. Participate in code reviews, discussions, and knowledge-sharing activities. Communicate progress, challenges, and solutions to the team and stakeholders.

About the Role:

This is a technical role that requires self-motivation, problem solving, time planning, and excellent written and spoken communications, including presentations to senior stakeholders and mixed audiences.

As the Java Backend Developer, your primary focus will be:

1. Developing system-to-system integration solutions for customers.
2. Contributing to the commercial product development of the Responsiv Unity and Responsiv Cloud product families.

We're looking for a smart, hands-on problem solver who loves tackling technical challenges. You should be self-motivated, proactive, and eager to learn, with strong API and web development skills. Work well in a team, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and take ownership of projects.
