About the Role: Senior Backend Developer

Your Day-to-Day Will Involve:

We run a MERN stack in a Typescript monorepo with GraphQL APIs and we are looking for a developer with experience and competency in those technologies.

• Write clean code for new features, supported by comprehensive unit testing to ensure the quality of the codebase remains high and errors are kept to a minimum
• Attend Agile ceremonies including daily standups, retros, and planning to ensure high velocity development
• Collaborate with product team, frontend team, and QA teams to determine tasks required to deliver proposed features to ensure smooth delivery of functionality
• Analyse bug reports and implement fixes to ensure continuity of service for our clients
• Support, coach, and encourage junior members of the team to raise the skill level of the whole team

Qualifications We’re Looking For:

• Min 4 years experience employed in development (6 years without degree or equivalent)
• Min 2 years experience employed at a MERN stack company
• Currently working as a mid or senior developer
• Experience working in a monorepo would be an asset
• Knowledge in NodeJs, Typescript, GraphQL, MongoDB, MacOS, Functional + OOP coding experience
