Job summary

People First is seeking a Japanesespeaking Sales Representative based in London to drive sourcing of European food ingredients for Asian markets and manage key supplier relationships. This permanent role is 35 hours per week with an ASAP start.

You will negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, prepare costings and sales contracts, and develop relationships with customers across Asia while collaborating with internal teams and reporting to the General Manager.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or client-facing role.
• Business-level English and Japanese.
• Willingness to travel, including overseas.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase European food ingredients and products for Asian markets.
• Negotiate prices, volumes, and terms with European suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and product quality.
• Prepare costings, quotations, and sales contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers across Asia.
• Manage orders and handle customer inquiries and claims.
• Work closely with internal teams and report to the General Manager.
