Job summary

People First Team Japan/ピープルファーストチームジャパン seeks a Japanesespeaking Sales Representative to source and purchase European food ingredients, negotiate with suppliers, and build Asia-focused client relationships from London. This permanent role requires travel willingness and business-level English and Japanese.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will manage orders, prepare quotations, and support contract negotiations while collaborating with internal teams to drive sales growth in Asian markets.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a sales or client-facing role.
• Willingness to travel, including overseas.
• Business-level English and Japanese.

Responsibilities

• Source and purchase European food ingredients and products for Asian markets.
• Negotiate prices, volumes, and terms with European suppliers.
• Manage supplier relationships and product quality.
• Prepare costings, quotations, and sales contracts.
• Develop and maintain relationships with customers across Asia.
• Manage orders and handle customer enquiries and claims.
• Work closely with internal teams and report to the General Manager.
