A leading global trading company is seeking a Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager to join their Asset Management Team in London. The successful candidate will manage accounts, work closely with auditors, and support team efforts in budget preparation and variance analysis. This role requires proficiency in both English and Japanese and a strong background in various accounting treatments including UK GAAP and IFRS.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English and Japanese with proven accounting qualifications.
• Demonstrated experience with UK GAAP and IFRS.
• Extensive management-level experience in various accounting functions.

Responsibilities

• Prepare management accounts and bank reconciliation.
• Liaise with auditors to prepare statutory accounts.
• Assist in internal control assessment and improvement.

Japanese Speaking Accounting Manager

Salary

£50,000 － £80,000 per annum

Job profile

A Japanese global trading company is looking for an Accounting Manager to support their Asset Management Team .

Duties and Responsibilities include:

• Prepare management accounts, journal entries input, bank reconciliation and consolidation package.
• Liaise with external auditor and tax advisor to prepare statutory accounts and tax return.
• Oversee payments and invoicing procedure.
• Assist in internal control assessment and improvement.
• Prepare annual budget and update forecast on a regular basis.
• Analyse the variance between budget, actual result and forecast, monitor budget achievement progress.
• Support business team in asset management and project development.
• Prepare board meeting materials, documents filing and other corporate related administrative matters.
• Assist in general administrative duties for team members as appropriate.

Skills and Experience:

• Fluent English & Japanese
• ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified certificate
• Demonstrable knowledge of accounting treatments (UK GAAP and IFRS)
• Demonstrable experience of Statutory Account preparation, VAT return, and statutory reports such as
• SAP (S/4 HANA) experience - advantageous
• Strong Excel skills
• Proficient in the use of MS Office
• Experience and applied knowledge working with a wide range of accounting functions at management level
• Proven ability in Management & Financial Accounting
• Ability to work with a high level of accuracy and meet tight deadlines whilst managing conflicting priorities
• Extensive experience in staff management
