Job summary

Compass Group PLC is recruiting a part-time Cleaner to join our cleaning and facilities teams for Defence, contracted to 20 hours per week. As one of our dedicated Cleaners, you will help deliver clean and safe environments for our clients and customers across Defence sites.

If you're a committed Cleaner looking for a role where you'll shine, we've got the position for you. Shift pattern includes mornings, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Experience in cleaning and hygiene standards.
• Flexible to work mornings.
• Hands-on approach to cleaning duties.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitise designated areas to a high standard.
• Dust, sweep, mop, vacuum and polish surfaces.
• Ensure surfaces, floors, windows and touchpoints are hygienic.
• Respond quickly to spillages and complete additional cleaning tasks.
• Empty and dispose of waste and monitor cleaning supplies.

Key responsibilities

• Working alongside our cleaning and facilities teams to keep environments safe and hygienic for every client and customer


• Dusting, sweeping, polishing, mopping, and vacuuming designated areas to a high standard


• Ensuring surface areas, floors, windows, and other touchpoints are sanitised regularly


• Performing additional cleaning duties as and when required, such as mopping up spillages quickly and efficiently


• Emptying and disposing of bin waste


• Monitoring and re-stocking cleaning supplies.
  Have brilliant organisational skills and attention to detail


• Enjoy working in a hands-on role


• Have had cleaning experience in a similar role, although this is not essential


• Have a flexible approach to working
