Ringway Jacobs is seeking an ITS Design Engineer to join the team in Chelmsford. You will design ITS solutions including pedestrian crossings, signal junctions, CCTV and driver messaging signs, and support feasibility studies and third‑party ITS proposals across the County.
You will work on verifying and configuring ITS controllers, writing specifications, and reviewing third‑party designs, while following health and safety regulations and quality procedures.

Our client, Ringway Jacobs, a leading provider of integrated highways management, is seeking an enthusiastic Engineer to join the ITS team to provide design services for the Essex Highways contract. The ITS Design team are responsible for the design and installation acceptance of new and refurbished traffic control solutions including pedestrian crossings, traffic signal junctions, CCTV installations and electronic driver messaging signs. Together with undertaking feasibility studies and checking and approval of third party ITS proposals across the County.
