Job summary
OMNIA Training is seeking an Integrated Test, Evaluation and Acceptance (ITEA) and Trials Engineer to lead testing and trials for the UK Defence collaboration. You will work under the ITEA Lead, plan and execute VTEP-aligned activities, ensure interoperability across ACTS and legacy systems, and contribute to acceptance documentation.
You will engage with engineering, acquisition and operational teams, support CAPEX planning, and uphold safety and security requirements within a defence
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Defence Technology, or a related discipline.
- Experience in Test & Evaluation, System Integration, or Trials Engineering in a Defence or similar environment.
- Demonstrated experience in executing trials.
- Analytical thinking, problem-solving, and able to work independently in a distributed team.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of technical publications and architectural standards.
- Familiarity with CATT/VBS/TES/CAST systems and SDR 2025 context.
Responsibilities
- Execute test planning and trials as part of VTEP/ITEAP.
- Coordinate capability integration plans and stakeholder analysis.
- Validate interoperability with ACTS services and legacy systems.
- Support FAT, CDR, and safety/environmental testing activities.
- Produce acceptance reports and trial documentation.
