Orion Electrotech Sales in the United Kingdom is seeking an International Trade Compliance Officer to support export control compliance in a highly regulated defence and aerospace environment.

You will advise internal stakeholders, maintain export classifications in the ERP, manage documentation for imports/exports, and assist with audits and regulatory inquiries.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Maintain export classifications within the ERP system.
• Update export control information on sales orders, including licence selection and order clearance.
• Screen customers and suppliers against relevant compliance requirements.

• Liaise with Chambers of Commerce regarding Carnets and Certificates of Origin.
• Support compliance with UK Export Control regulations.
• Support adherence to US ITAR, EAR and Dual-Use regulations.
• Assist with ECJU, HMRC and other compliance audits and visits.
• Provide guidance to engineering, procurement, commercial and project teams on export control requirements.

Overview

We're recruiting for an ITC Officer to join a leading engineering and manufacturing business in a highly regulated defence and aerospace environment. The role supports the ITC Manager and the wider business in ensuring compliance with UK and US export control regulations, providing guidance to internal stakeholders and supporting critical import and export activities.
