Job summary

212 Recruitment is seeking a computer-literate Warehouse Operative to join a fast-paced team in the UK. The role blends physical warehouse tasks with hands-on IT duties, including data erasure and using Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).

You will decommission and prepare IT equipment, log details in the in-house system, and coordinate with colleagues to meet contracts and SLAs. Training will be provided, with Monday–Friday hours and no weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Tech-savvy and computer literate with experience using IT systems.
• WMS experience with warehouse management software or tracking systems.
• Basic IT knowledge of components, charging equipment, and troubleshooting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Process, clean and prepare IT equipment for decommissioning or return.
• Erase data securely using third-party software for total data safety.
• Log unit information into in-house systems accurately.
• Configure computers, navigate BIOS, and perform minor fault-finding.
• Handle stock movements, palletise units, and prepare items for dispatch.
• Coordinate with office to meet customer contracts and SLAs.
