Job summary

Personnel Selection Recruitment seeks a switched-on Warehouse Technician for a technical client in Basingstoke. This ongoing temporary role focuses on accuracy, stock control and careful handling of specialist equipment, with a 40-hour week, Monday to Friday, and potential extension beyond three months.

You will manage unloading, receiving, picking, packing and dispatch, using hand scanners and warehouse systems, while maintaining strict safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Previous warehousing experience is required, ideally in technical/scientific/engineering settings.
• Able to follow processes, paperwork and stock records accurately.
• Excellent attention to detail and careful handling of technical equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with unloading deliveries and ensure goods are received and recorded accurately.
• Pick and pack customer orders for shipment.
• Unloading and accurately placing items into stock.
• Handle products delicately to avoid damage to critical equipment.
• Inspect incoming/outgoing goods for accuracy and faults.
• Complete paperwork and update stock/order records in systems.
