About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified and motivated IT Teacher to deliver engaging and effective lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, with potential opportunities to contribute to Key Stage 5. The successful candidate will be expected to plan and deliver high-quality lessons, support pupils’ progress, and actively contribute to the wider school community.

Key Responsibilities:

• Delivering the IT/Computing curriculum in line with national standards
• Creating a positive and inclusive classroom environment
• Assessing and tracking student progress
• Supporting extracurricular activities and IT enrichment programmes
• Collaborating with colleagues to develop innovative teaching resources

Requirements:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
• Experience teaching IT/Computing in a secondary school setting
• Strong classroom management skills
• A passion for technology and education
• An enhanced DBS check on the update service (or willing to obtain one)
