Job summary

Interface Recruitment is recruiting for an IT Systems & Support Engineer on behalf of a long-established Yorkshire manufacturer in Huddersfield. The role offers the chance to grow into a broader IT Operations position over two years, working alongside an experienced IT Manager.

You’ll perform day-to-day IT support while expanding into infrastructure, security, and manufacturing tech, with a view to greater responsibility and long-term career progression in a stable environment.

Qualifications

• Provide day-to-day technical IT support across the business.
• Develop into broader IT Operations focusing on infra and security.
• Experience with ERP/MRP and manufacturing tech is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support.
• Support Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and Windows environments.
• Assist with Windows Server and Hyper-V administration.
• Support networking, switching and firewall infrastructure.
• Manage user accounts, devices and endpoint technologies.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery and cyber security.
• Support telephony, CCTV and manufacturing technology.
• Work with third-party suppliers and contribute to IT projects.
• Maintain technical documentation and procedures.
