Project Freelance is seeking an IT Systems Support Engineer in Godalming, Surrey. The role focuses on IT support, system administration, and expanding cloud and hybrid infrastructure knowledge.

You will work with users, customers, and distributors to resolve technical issues, primarily supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, and AD environments. A hands-on, learning-oriented candidate is ideal.

IT Systems Support Engineer
£35,000 - £42,000 + Bonus + Training + Benefits
Godalming, Surrey

Are you coming from a 1st/2nd Line IT Support, IT Engineer or Technician background, with experience supporting Microsoft environments, and looking for a role where you can broaden your technical skills?

This is an opportunity to join an established, specialist business in a varied, hands‑on role covering IT support, systems administration, cloud infrastructure and technical support.

Alongside supporting users across the business, you'll work with customers and distributors to troubleshoot software and technical issues with the company's products. You'll also work as part of a small team supporting Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Active Directory and Intune, while gaining exposure to the company's ongoing move towards cloud and hybrid infrastructure.

This is a great opportunity for someone with a solid IT support foundation who is keen to keep learning and move beyond a traditional support role and gain exposure to different technologies and the chance to take on infrastructure and technical projects as your experience develops.

• Good years of commercial experience in IT support or systems administration
• Experience supporting Microsoft environments
• Strong troubleshooting skills across hardware, software and networks
• Keen to develop systems administration and cloud infrastructure knowledge
• Comfortable supporting both internal users and external customers
• Based within a commutable distance to Godalming
