Job summary

Our client, a leading Managed Service Provider, is seeking an experienced IT Systems Engineer to join their technical team. You will provide first-line support, visit client sites, log incidents, and maintain service records across multiple environments.

The role demands strong Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows Server, and networking skills, with a commitment to high-quality customer service and problem solving.

Qualifications

• Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.
• Azure deployment and administration experience.
• Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022).
• Networking knowledge covering VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches and routers.
• Experience with Intune and RMM platforms for remote management.

Responsibilities

• Support incidents remotely and on-site.

Main Duties

Provide first-line support and act as the primary contact for customers.

Visit customer locations to diagnose and resolve technical issues when required.

Competitive salary between £30,000 and £40,000 per annum, depending on experience.

Generous annual leave entitlement of 40 days per year.

Minimum 5 years in a similar IT support position.

Experience implementing Cyber Essentials and GDPR compliance measures.

Strong Microsoft 365 knowledge including Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint and OneDrive.

Intune, RMM and VoIP/telephony system experience.

Networking knowledge covering VLANs, DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, firewalls, switches and routers.

Windows Server administration (2016, 2019, 2022).

Azure deployment and administration experience.

Strong troubleshooting and customer service skills.

Familiarity with Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS environments.
