Skills & Experience and Systems Knowledge Required:

• Proven experience in a similar IT Systems Engineering role, with extensive knowledge of Azure.
• Extensive technical expertise with Azure, VMware or Hyper-V, and Windows Server 2019/2022 operating systems.
• Proficiency in Cloud platforms.
• Proficiency in scripting languages, including PowerShell, for automation and task simplification.
• Experience with AvePoint, Veeam, BackupExec, or Redstor for data integrity and recovery.
• A proactive approach with a "can-do" attitude and the ability to motivate others.
• Proven problem-solving skills.
• High accuracy and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

• Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware, servers, and infrastructure.
• Monitoring system performance to ensure IT services are available and operational.
• Performing routine checks, backups, and patch management.
• Monitoring networks and systems and liaising with the NOC for smooth operations.
• Providing technical support to staff via phone or email, maintaining detailed records of incidents and requests, and keeping users informed about ticket statuses.
• Ensuring the delivery of efficient services that maintain high user satisfaction.
• Troubleshooting and resolving incidents involving various systems, applications, and technologies, either remotely or through direct user assistance.
• Managing service desk queues, handling unassigned tickets, and updating work information.
• Supporting internal office relocations (IT equipment only) and new user configurations.
• Cabling and network patch management.
• Managing inventory and assets.
• Leading technical aspects of various application and infrastructure projects.
