Job summary

VANRATH in Belfast is seeking an IT Systems Analyst & Programmer to provide day-to-day support for critical systems and users. You will troubleshoot, resolve issues, and maintain existing applications while assisting with testing and implementing changes.

The role offers on-site work, a permanent full-time contract, and opportunities for long-term career development and training within a growing brand.

Qualifications

• Previous IT/systems support or technical role experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Good testing, troubleshooting and support of business systems.
• Confident with Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to changing requirements.
• Relevant third-level IT qualification.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day support for business-critical systems and users.
• Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues through to completion.
• Maintain and improve existing systems and applications.
• Assist with testing and implementing system changes and enhancements.
• Monitor system performance and carry out routine maintenance activities.
• Work with internal teams and external suppliers to resolve issues and improve services.

• Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 - open to discussions based on experience
• Location: Belfast
• Contract: Permanent, full-time
• Work Pattern: 08:30-5:00, on-site
