Job summary

Eleclink is offering an IT Support Technician Apprentice (Level 3) in London, hybrid working. The role includes on-the-job IT support, cybersecurity tasks, documentation, and participation in training to achieve a Level 3 IT qualification.

The programme runs for 1 year 5 months with a 37.5 hour week and travel to Folkestone/France as needed. You’ll learn practical IT skills, network troubleshooting, and system resilience while supporting the Sr.Service Manager and IT team.

Qualifications

  • GCSE Maths and Computer Science/IT or equivalent required for entry.
  • Willing to study towards Level 3 IT qualification during apprenticeship.

  • Support cybersecurity and compliance activities as part of the programme.

The Apprentice supports the efficient operation, maintenance, and optimisation of IT systems and cybersecurity within Eleclink. The role involves developing practical skills across IT support, networking, cybersecurity, and system resilience, while working towards a recognised Level 3 qualification.

What you'll do at work

The role will be based out of Eleclink’s London office with occasional travel to Folkestone, UK and Peuplingues, France based on business needs.



  • Support Sr.Service Manager and IT Support analyst in provide day‑to‑day IT support, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.

  • Maintainaccuratedocumentation of systems, incidents, and resolutions including upkeep of key registers formaintainingIT Assets.

  • AssistwiderEleclinkwith the maintenance and monitoring including on‑boarding and off boarding employees.

  • SupportCybersecurity and GRC lead inthe implementation of security controls and follow cyber security best practices including support of compliance activities both internal and external including NIS.

  • Follow organisational processes and procedures for backup, storage, and secure disposal of IT assets.

  • Contribute to IT projects, including planning, testing, and quality assurance activities.

  • Assistin preparing systems for stability and resilience, including BCP and Incident response techniques.

During this apprenticeship, you will follow a fully supported training programme withLearnTech, delivered through combined weekly remote classroom‑based training, workplace assessment/training and online learning working towards completing the Information Communications Technician standard.
