Job Role: IT Support Technician

The ideal candidate is confident, self-driven, organized, with solid IT knowledge and broad experience in resolving IT issues. Requirements include 3-5 years of experience, preferably within large global organizations, and experience working with virtual teams and remote support. The role is based full-time at our Doncaster site.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support onsite infrastructure including end-user computing and data center equipment.
  • Provide excellent service and communicate effectively with users at all levels.
  • Prioritize and plan daily tasks in collaboration with the team.
  • Support colleagues and share knowledge to enhance team performance.
Communication and Environment

The role involves interacting with people in both industrial warehouse and traditional office environments. The candidate must deliver friendly, robust service and possess strong written and spoken communication skills.

Technical Skills
  • Advanced desktop usage, VPN & Citrix, mobile devices, Windows 10/11.
  • PC setup, BIOS configuration, Microsoft OS, LAN/Wi-Fi connectivity.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365 and end-user device support.
  • Mobile device setup (iOS, Android).
  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, basic server and network troubleshooting.
  • Knowledge of file/print services, Active Directory, ServiceNow, ITIL v3 Foundation certification.
Desirable Skills
  • LAN/WLAN/Wi-Fi, Apple Mac, warehouse IT support experience.
Organizational and Personal Skills
  • Understanding of business processes and requirements.
  • High sense of urgency, professional communication, customer service skills.
  • Time management, independence, problem-solving, and presentation skills.
