Job summary

Luminance is seeking an IT Support Engineer to join its London team, providing day-to-day IT support across the business and assisting with internal IT systems maintenance. You will be the first point of contact for IT issues, handling onboarding, account management, device provisioning and office technology support.

The role requires 2+ years in IT support, strong macOS and Windows experience, and familiarity with Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Jamf, and networking. London-based with onsite work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years hands-on IT support experience.
• Strong Apple macOS support in a business environment.
• Experience supporting Windows devices.
• Experience administering Microsoft 365 / Office 365.
• Experience with device management / MDM tooling (Jamf).
• Experience with identity management (Azure AD).
• Good networking fundamentals knowledge (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN).
• Experience resolving hardware/software/connectivity issues and supporting end users.
• Experience supporting remote and office-based users, including executives.
• Experience with meeting rooms, AV equipment and office technology.
• Familiarity with Linux is advantageous.
• Scripting/automation with Bash, PowerShell or Python is advantageous.
• Eligible to work in the United Kingdom.

Responsibilities

• Providing day-to-day IT support to employees, handling issues from diagnosis to resolution.
• Setting up, configuring and maintaining laptops and end-user devices.
• Managing user accounts, permissions and access across internal systems.
• Onboarding and offboarding processes for new and departing staff.
• Supporting meeting rooms, video conferencing and AV equipment.
• Managing IT hardware and inventory, including laptops and peripherals.
• Assisting with endpoint management, software deployment and patching.
• Maintaining internal IT documentation and processes.
• Working with the wider IT team on infrastructure and security projects.
