£30,000 per annum
A fantastic opportunity has become available with the opportunity to work alongside leaders in the IT sector. Our client is seeking a customer-focused Deskside Support Engineer to join the on-site support team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced 2nd Line Support professional to join a secure, stable environment and support critical end-user services.
The role requires SC clearance; however, candidates can start once BPSS is confirmed. Applicants with existing and valid SC clearance will be prioritised.
As a Deskside Support Engineer, you will be responsible for :
Providing deskside, floor-walking and hands-on technical support for all users.
Troubleshooting and resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Supporting Windows devices, laptops, desktops, printers, peripherals and mobile technologies.
Managing incident tickets, ensuring timely updates, accurate logging, and resolution within SLAs.
Installing, configuring, and maintaining end-user devices, following the company processes.
Participating in an on‑call rota alongside an engineer (likely 1 week on / 1 week off or 2 on / 2 off - TBC).
