Job description

An award-winning IT service provider is offering a fantastic opportunity for an Apprentice to join their team. The successful candidate will be passionate about technology, eager to learn, develop, and possess a blend of basic technical knowledge and outstanding customer service skills.

Duties

1. Providing technical product support to clients with a focus on quick resolution of incidents and ensuring great customer satisfaction.
2. Analyzing and troubleshooting application issues.
3. Reviewing tickets created by clients, including categorization and routing.
4. Handling incoming client calls, logging tickets with correct categorization and resource assignment.
5. Liaising with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
6. Continuously learning the latest technical best practices.
7. Escalating tickets to Level 2 and, if necessary, Level 3 and vendor-specific resolver teams as per our escalation process.

About you

To be an ICT Support Apprentice, you must be a tech enthusiast with at least 5 GCSEs (ideally A* – C, 4-9), including Maths and English.

This 18-month apprenticeship offers a salary of £15,000 per year. You will receive full training and support from the Just IT Apprenticeship team to enhance your skills.

Your training will include obtaining internationally recognized Level 3 IT qualifications.

• Proficiency in Microsoft applications
• Tech-savvy attitude
• Funded training and development opportunities, including technical courses, training, and exams related to your role, with qualifications in Azure and Microsoft alongside the apprenticeship.
• Flexibility in work hours, with benefits such as great holiday entitlement and paid parental leave, including 25 days of paid annual leave plus additional long service leave.
• Participation in a social club with monthly events like axe-throwing, bowling, and golf.
