IT Support Analyst - French Speaking, Borehamwood

Compensation: £30,000 - £34,000 / year

The Role

The IT Support Analyst at Safestore ensures the smooth operation of our technology infrastructure. Responsibilities include providing technical support to end-users, resolving hardware and software issues, and maintaining IT systems. The role involves responding to user inquiries, diagnosing problems, guiding on technology use, collaborating on system upgrades, and supporting network security and documentation efforts. The analyst plays a vital role in fostering a technology-enabled environment aligned with Safestore’s business goals.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitoring and maintaining networks and servers.
  • Upgrading, installing, and configuring hardware and software.
  • Responding to technical issues and inquiries from store colleagues.
  • Creating user accounts, managing access control, and licenses.
  • Diagnosing hardware and software problems.
  • Documenting processes, backing up, and archiving data.
  • Supervising and mentoring IT team members.
  • Staying updated with IT best practices.
  • Troubleshooting network connectivity issues.
  • Supporting LAN and WAN setup and maintenance.
  • Collaborating across departments to resolve complex issues.
  • Providing remote assistance as needed.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proven experience in IT support or as an IT technician.
  • Problem-solving aptitude.
  • Strong communication skills, both spoken and written.
  • Self-motivated with personal drive.
  • Experience with Microsoft-based environments.
  • Experience in retail, wholesale, or distributed companies.
  • Knowledge of internet and network security protocols.
  • Full, clean driving license.
