IT Supplier Manager
Salary circa £55,000
Are you an experienced Supplier Manager eager to become part of one of the most engaging and rapidly growing teams in Aviva?
This role is perfect for someone with a proven track record in managing supplier relationships, contracts, and performance for critical suppliers in a regulated environment, preferably within Financial Services. While the focus of the role will be IT, direct experience in IT contracts is very advantageous but not mandatory.
Our team is dedicated to delivering value through effective supplier relationships, third-party risk management, and comprehensive oversight. This involves managing contracts and overall relationships with suppliers to mitigate risks, enhance supplier performance, ensure contractual governance, and maximise commercial and business value.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a team dedicated to providing excellence in Supplier Management across Aviva.
A bit about the job:
The purpose of the role is to manage suppliers in line with best practices and defined policies and standards, as well as supporting colleagues in IT. You’ll apply appropriate commercial, contractual, and supplier relationship management skills, tools, and techniques to ensure supplier relationships to meet and exceed contractual obligations.
You will drive performance by effectively utilising contractual levers, mitigating risks, and working collaboratively with IT. You will ensure compliance with contractual obligations while identifying and capitalising on additional opportunities. You will lead negotiations, including amending contracts and creating or approving work orders.
You will work closely with IT and procurement colleagues to manage contracts, support disputes, breaches and exits, whilst ensuring both Aviva and the supplier adhere to contract obligations.
