Places for People seeks an IT & Transformation Strategy & Governance Lead to own and evolve the IT strategy, roadmap, contracts and policy framework. You will ensure governance across the technology portfolio, manage risks, dependencies and supplier commitments, and report to senior leaders with practical recommendations.

The role is based in Northwich, around 3 days a week, and a basic DBS check is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Experience in IT strategy, technology governance, portfolio management, operations or transformation.
• Experience maintaining governance records (roadmaps, inventories, registers, policy libraries, risk registers, dashboards).
• Proven ability to report to senior leadership with clear recommendations.
• Experience managing IT contracts, renewals, supplier performance or licensing.

Responsabilités

• Own and continually improve IT strategy and technology roadmap.
• Govern portfolio governance including roadmaps, policy schedules and risk registers.
• Support investment decisions and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
• Translate complex information into clear reports and decision papers.
