Sentara Health is looking for an IT Specialist - Pharmacy to join our team!The IT Specialist - Pharmacy serves as a liaison between the pharmacy department and the IT team to ensure the effective implementation, optimization, and support of pharmacy-related technologies.
This role involves analyzing pharmacy workflows, configuring systems, providing technical support, and participating in projects that enhance patient safety, medication management, and operational efficiency.
Knowledge of SQL query language, data analytics and reporting, and HL7 is required. A pharmacist license is also required for the state of practice.
