Job summary

Wise is looking for an IT SOX expert to join our Security Controls team and help scale a global platform with strong controls. You will drive scope rationalisation, map dependencies, and support testing across cloud and SaaS environments.

You’ll collaborate with Finance, Risk, Security and Platform teams to implement SOX 404 requirements and create audit-ready documentation, RACMs and robust ITGCs for in-scope systems.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience in Technology Risk or IT Audit with a focus on SOX.
• Deep knowledge of SOX 404, COSO and IT control frameworks (NIST, ISO27001).
• Experience with first-time SOX audits in cloud-native environments.
• Understanding CI/CD change management and IAM in microservices.

Responsibilities

• Analyse and optimise IT SOX scope across apps and infra.
• Establish RACMs and identify necessary ITGCs/ITACs for new SOX apps.
• Document end-to-end dependency maps for management review.
• Support control testing across cloud and SaaS landscape.
• Partner with Finance, Risk, Security, Platform to communicate SOX 404 needs.
