Job Description:

Hays are looking for a UK National Solution Architect who has SC clearance or can obtain it.

• Permanent position
• Exciting projects from cradle to grave

Hybrid / Remote work with some minimal travel to the office. Focus on Infrastructure, Networking, and Applications.

• Interact with end customers to define, produce, and maintain optimal designs based on air-gapped IT solutions, in coordination with Delivery and Project Managers.
• Manage a small team of IT specialists daily.
• Facilitate requirements, design, and solutions workshops to gather functional and non-functional requirements, including applications. Own design deliverables such as Statements of Work and Architecture documents, ensuring traceability of requirements.
• Communicate and enforce design solutions to customers and key project stakeholders.
• Promote excellence through continuous improvement, best practices, and reference architectures.
• Collaborate with Product Managers & Engineering for product enhancements and reference architectures.
• Build technical expertise and deliver technical consultancy services as needed.
• Plan activities, report progress, and complete tasks within the approved budget.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• UK Citizen eligible for Security Clearance.
• Experience with On-Prem and Air Gapped environments related to applications, infrastructure, cybersecurity tools, and backup solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to articulate technical topics.
• Deep IT knowledge of regulatory networks and out-of-the-box solutions.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.
• Willingness to travel as required; full UK driving license.
