Job Title: IT Hardware and Software Technician

Location: SolihullJob Type: Temporary to permanentSalary: £12.31-£12.56Start Date: ASAP

Working hours:(Apply online only) Mon-Thurs, (Apply online only) Fri

(1-hour unpaid break Monday-Thursday, 30 minuteson a Friday)

We are actively recruiting for someone with both a strong IT and manual background for the role of IT Hardware and Software Technician for a market-leading bio-metricaccess control and workforce management solution provider. This Role will include the use of hand tools and can be dexterous at times.

Key Responsibilities

Configure and set up hardware to meet operational and client-specific requirements.Assist with assembly of electrical equipment and associated bracketsInstall and configure software across various platformsTest and prepare products (Routers, CCTV, PCs) for deployment.Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues for returned productsAccurately log issues related to networking, hardware, or software.Communicate effectively with all departments and Management as needed.Collaborate closely with the Order Preparation and Stores teams.Support with ad-hoc tasks as required.Skills and Qualifications

Working knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems.Strong troubleshooting abilities and attention to detail.Solid understanding of IT hardware (PCs, routers, peripherals).Effective problem-solving and time management skills.Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.Team player with a can-do attitude and a passion for IT and technology.Basic knowledge of CCTV equipment (training provided).Experience of using basic hand toolsWhat We Offer
