Job summary

JATO Dynamics Limited is seeking an IT Service Availability Engineer to ensure continuous availability and optimal performance of IT services and infrastructure. You will proactively monitor systems, troubleshoot incidents, and drive improvements in processes, tools, and resilience across the organisation.

The role involves working with IT operations, development, and external vendors to resolve complex issues, assess planned changes for risks, and contribute to runbooks and documentation.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of ITIL practices and ticketing systems is essential.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor IT systems, applications, and infrastructure to identify issues before they impact operations.
• Respond to incidents, perform root cause analysis, and restore service availability.
• Collaborate with IT operations, development, and vendors to resolve complex issues.
• Assess changes for risk to service availability and mitigate accordingly.
• Participate in post-incident reviews to capture lessons learned and improve processes.
• Maintain system documentation, runbooks and diagrams.
