Job summary

Interface Recruitment is seeking an IT Service Desk Manager / ICT Team Leader for a multinational manufacturing environment. The role involves 1st/2nd line support, coordinating a small UK team and collaborating with global IT leaders to deliver on major infrastructure projects.

The candidate should have senior IT leadership experience, strong communication skills, and a solid mix of technical knowledge in Google Workspace, Citrix and Windows environments.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years IT support experience on desk and shop floor.
• Experience using Google Workspace and Windows-based systems is beneficial.
• MCP in Windows 10/11 or equivalent qualifications are not essential but preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st and 2nd line IT support across desktop, network and server issues.
• Respond to helpdesk requests via phone, email and in person.
• Log and track incidents, follow SOPs and escalate critical problems.
• Assist with provisioning user accounts in Active Directory and Google Admin console.
• Build/update PCs and laptops as needed and support high-availability infra projects.
