We're building a missing piece of global infrastructure: a secure network to enable organizations to send algorithms to data. This allows sharing the benefits of data without moving it, compromising privacy, or exposing raw data.

Currently, we focus on using our platform to address clinical trial recruitment in healthcare, enabling privacy-preserving collaboration between healthcare providers and pharmaceutical companies to accelerate medicines' availability.

The role

Bitfount seeks a motivated, experienced IT and Cybersecurity Manager as our first hire in this domain. Responsibilities include organizational IT management, product security, compliance, and liaising with customer IT teams.

You should have solid experience in IT management or cybersecurity, with strong regulatory and process management knowledge. You should be comfortable working across teams and discussing security aspects of our product.

Your work will include

• Managing employee onboarding/offboarding access and permissions
• Developing IT and Security processes/documentation
• Overseeing security and cost management of suppliers
• Contributing to product security and compliance, including planning and follow-up on external pen tests
• Managing customer device interactions with their IT teams
• User managed conditional endpoint privilege management

Ideal candidates may have:

• 5+ years in IT management, with 3+ in cybersecurity
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, VPNs, encryption, endpoint security
• Experience with Windows and Apple device management (InTune, JAMF)
• Familiarity with standards like ISO 27001, regulations like GDPR, HIPAA
• Strong communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
• Experience supporting audits
• Knowledge of Microsoft products & licensing
• Problem-solving skills under pressure

Nice to haves include experience with organizational policies, Vanta or similar tools, and IT budgeting.
