Job summary

JIYU People Ltd. in Newbury, Berkshire, is seeking an IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst to protect and operate a largely on-prem environment with a growing Azure footprint. You will join a close-knit team and drive security-focused infrastructure initiatives.

The role involves hands-on work across security tooling, virtualization, and server infrastructure, with involvement in a Server 2016–2022 upgrade for about 30 servers. Hybrid work and occasional overtime are part of the package.

IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst

Newbury, Berkshire (Onsite with some hybrid working) | Up to £40,500

Are you a security-minded infrastructure professional looking for a role where you’ll genuinely shape how the environment is protected and run?

We’re recruiting for an IT Security & Infrastructure Analyst to join a close-knit team, working across a predominantly on-premise environment (80%) with a growing Azure footprint (20%). This is a security-focused role at heart, with real infrastructure depth behind it — you’ll be hands‑on with both protecting the environment and keeping it running.

This role is for you if:

• You’ve got strong experience with Microsoft Defender and associated security tooling
• You’re confident with Cisco and Meraki networking
• You have solid VMware, Windows Server, and Active Directory experience — these are essential
• Intune and Entra experience would be a bonus
• You’re comfortable managing a major infrastructure project — you’ll be central to a Server 2016 to Server 2022 upgrade across c.30 servers
• You communicate well with stakeholders and internal customers, not just systems
