Job summary

Netcompany Group A/S is seeking an experienced IT Security Consultant to define and manage the UK security posture and support customer security initiatives. You will guide security improvements, mentor staff, run internal audits and ensure compliance with high standards while collaborating across departments.

Qualifications

• Proven IT security management experience (5+ years).
• Deep knowledge of IT security principles, practices and technologies.
• Experience with ISO27001, CE+, Secure by Design, JSP 440 and JSP 604.
• Certifications such as CISSP or CISM.
• Experience with cloud security and Microsoft 365 Security.
• Experience delivering IPSA accreditation to organisations.
• Ability to guide and support all Security function activity.

Responsibilities

• Assess and identify potential security risks to IT systems.
• Develop and implement comprehensive security strategies and measures.
• Monitor and analyse security metrics to address emerging risks.
• Upgrade existing security systems or design new ones.
• Conduct regular security audits and simulate breaches to test response protocols.
• Manage disaster recovery plans and ensure business continuity.
• Secure weak points in IT infrastructure and maintain standards.
• Prepare technical documentation and reports for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Train and supervise IT security staff and foster security awareness.
