Job summary

Booker, the UK's leading food & drink wholesaler, is seeking an IT Senior Analyst - IT Security Compliance to strengthen controls, support compliance activities and drive continuous improvement across the technology landscape in the UK.

You will partner with Technology, Cyber Security and business teams to ensure processes, controls and documentation are robust and fit for purpose, and help teams demonstrate compliance through clear evidence gathering and reporting.

Qualifications

• Experience in Risk, Compliance, Internal Controls, IT Governance, Cyber Security or related discipline.
• Strong stakeholder management and influencing at all levels.
• Experience documenting processes, controls, procedures or operational frameworks.
• Ability to analyse information, identify issues and support solutions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience supporting change initiatives and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Support compliance with Booker's cyber security controls and governance framework.
• Build relationships with technology and business stakeholders to embed effective controls.
• Create and maintain process documentation, including narratives, diagrams and control documentation.
• Support internal and external audit activities and coordinate remediation plans.
• Work with process/control owners to enhance control quality and effectiveness.
• Assist with evidence gathering, control testing and KPI reporting.
• Communicate findings, risks and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Support sustainable, BAU approach to compliance across technology.
• Act as a trusted SME for internal controls and compliance activities.
