Job summary

Adria Solutions Ltd. is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager in Manchester to lead a portfolio of infrastructure, cloud and managed services projects across the UK and beyond.

You will manage full lifecycle delivery, coordinate engineers and suppliers, and ensure projects meet time, budget and quality targets while building strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Proven experience delivering technology projects within IT services, infrastructure or managed services.
• Experience with IT infrastructure, cloud or managed services delivery.
• Experience with project planning, governance, budgeting and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management across technical and business teams.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.

Responsibilities

• Manage multiple IT infrastructure, cloud and technology projects from initiation through to successful delivery.
• Act as the primary point of contact for customers throughout the project lifecycle.
• Produce and maintain detailed project plans, schedules and resource plans.
• Coordinate internal technical teams and third-party suppliers.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
• Identify, manage and mitigate project risks, issues and dependencies.
• Provide regular progress updates to senior stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement of project management processes and governance.
• Coach and mentor Junior Project Managers and Project Coordinators where required.

IT Project Manager - Manchester

IT Infrastructure | Cloud | Managed Services

My client is looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to join their growing Operations team, delivering a wide range of IT infrastructure, cloud and managed services projects for customers across the UK and internationally.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Project Manager who enjoys working in a fast-paced technology environment, managing multiple concurrent projects and building strong relationships with both customers and technical teams.

Working alongside experienced engineers and consultants, you'll take ownership of projects from inception through to successful delivery, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget and to the highest quality standards.

The Role

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll be responsible for managing the full project lifecycle across a varied portfolio of infrastructure and technology projects. You'll work closely with customers, engineers, operations and commercial teams to ensure successful project delivery while maintaining excellent customer satisfaction.

You'll also play an important role in improving project delivery processes, mentoring junior members of the team and helping drive operational excellence across the business.

About You

We're looking for someone with proven experience delivering technology projects within an IT services, infrastructure or managed services environment.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Managing multiple concurrent customer-facing IT projects.
• IT Infrastructure, Cloud or Managed Services delivery.
• Project planning, governance, budgeting and risk management.
• Stakeholder management across both technical and business teams.
• Microsoft Project, Smartsheet or similar project management tools.
• Microsoft 365 including Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.

Desirable Experience

• PRINCE2, Agile, PMP or equivalent Project Management qualifications.
• Data Centre, Hosting or Cloud Infrastructure projects.
• VMware, Microsoft or Dell infrastructure environments.
• Experience mentoring or managing junior project professionals.
• Exposure to financial or project accounting systems such as Sage.
