Job summary

Perfect Path Recruitment Ltd is seeking a proactive Project Manager to oversee end-to-end telecoms and IT infrastructure projects for a fast-growing MSP in South Cheshire. You will coordinate hosted telephony, connectivity, networks and cloud migrations to ensure delivery on time and to a high standard.

You will act as the main point of contact for clients and internal teams, managing multiple ongoing projects with a focus on quality, customer satisfaction, and effective stakeholder

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Project Manager in MSP/IT/telecoms environments.
• Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud/M365 migrations) and UCaaS/telecoms.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to juggle multiple projects.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder-management abilities.
• Formal project-management training or certifications (Prince2/Agile) are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, track and close multiple IT/telecoms projects concurrently.
• Coordinate dual streams across hosted voice, connectivity, LAN/WAN upgrades and cloud migrations.
• Manage internal teams, field engineers, vendors and carrier relationships.

Company Overview

We are recruiting on behalf of a leading, fast-growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) based in the South Cheshire area. Our client specialises in delivering robust business telephony, cloud communications, high-speed connectivity, and comprehensive IT support solutions to a diverse portfolio of business clients across the UK. Due to continued expansion, they are looking for a proactive, technically literate Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of both telecommunications and IT infrastructure projects.

Role Overview

As the Project Manager, you will sit at the heart of operations, acting as the single point of contact for clients and internal technical teams. You will manage the complete lifecycle of multiple concurrent projects—ranging from hosted telephony (UCaaS) and SIP/connectivity deployments to full IT network migrations, cloud backups, and hardware rollouts. Your objective is to ensure all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standard of customer satisfaction, bridging the gap between sales, engineering, and the client.

Key Responsibilities

• End-to-End Project Lifecycle Management: Plan, execute, track, and close multiple IT and telecoms projects simultaneously, ensuring adherence to strict quality and delivery timelines.
• Dual-Stream Delivery: Coordinate projects spanning both technology domains—including hosted voice platforms (e.g., Gamma, 8x8), internet connectivity/broadband, LAN/WAN upgrades, cloud migrations, and cybersecurity implementations.
• Resource & Stakeholder Co-ordination: Schedule and task internal support desks and field engineers, while managing third-party vendors and carrier relationships.
• Client Communication: Lead kick-off meetings, provide regular progress updates, and manage client expectations with clear, personable communication.
• Risk & Scope Management: Identify project risks early, implement mitigation strategies, and manage change requests effectively to prevent scope creep.
• Documentation & Handoff: Ensure seamless transition from project implementation into BAU (Business As-Usual) support, ensuring all technical configurations and project files are accurately documented.

Key Requirements & Experience

• Proven experience as a Project Manager, ideally within a Managed Service Provider (MSP), IT services, or telecommunications environment.
• Solid understanding of both IT infrastructure (networks, servers, cloud/Microsoft 365 migrations) and telecoms/UCaaS environments.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple fast-paced projects concurrently.
• Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, with a strong customer-first mindset.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a calm, structured approach under pressure.
• Formal project management methodology training or certification (e.g., Prince2, Agile, or equivalent) is advantageous, though practical hands‑on MSP experience is equally valued.
