Job summary

Focus Resourcing Limited is looking for a Project Manager to join our busy Project Services division in the UK. You will coordinate national IT and data infrastructure rollouts across multiple sites, ensuring delivery stays on track and within scope.

You will manage detailed plans, schedules and governance, while coordinating engineers, suppliers and internal teams to meet milestones, budgets and quality standards. A proactive, fast-paced approach and strong stakeholder skills are essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of project management experience in national, multi-site IT or data infrastructure projects.
• Experience managing scope, budgets, schedules and change control.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end responsibility for national IT and data infrastructure rollouts.
• Build and manage detailed project plans, schedules, trackers and governance.
• Manage milestones, resources, risks, issues and change throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate activity across geographically dispersed sites for successful delivery.
• Oversee cabling and infrastructure installations, including Cat6/Cat6A and related tech.
• Build relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Coordinate engineers, subcontractors, supply-chain partners, equipment and logistics.
• Manage budgets and forecasts to keep delivery predictable and controlled.
• Ensure quality, health and safety and technical standards are maintained.

We're looking for a Project Manager to join our client's busy Project Services division. Are client needs someone who thrives on bringing complex projects together - coordinating people, suppliers, logistics and technical delivery to achieve successful results across multiple locations.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a strong background in national, multi-site IT or data infrastructure projects, who enjoys working at pace, solving problems and keeping everyone moving towards the same goal.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

• Taking end-to-end responsibility for national IT and data infrastructure rollouts.
• Building and managing detailed project plans, schedules, trackers, reporting and governance controls.
• Managing milestones, dependencies, resources, risks, issues and change throughout the project lifecycle.
• Coordinating activity across geographically dispersed sites, ensuring everything is in place for successful delivery.
• Overseeing structured cabling and associated infrastructure installations, including Cat6 and Cat6A, containment and related technologies.
• Building strong relationships with customers, suppliers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Coordinating engineers, subcontractors, supply-chain partners, equipment and logistics.
• Managing budgets, forecasts, scope, risks, documentation and change to keep delivery predictable and controlled.
• Ensuring quality, health and safety and technical standards are maintained.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

• Strong project management experience within national, multi-site IT or data infrastructure environments.
• Strong experience managing project scope, budgets, schedules, quality, risk, dependencies and change.
• A good understanding of the practical challenges involved in delivering projects.
• Experience using tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Smartsheet or similar project management and reporting systems.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• A proactive and practical approach to problem-solving.
• The ability to manage multiple workstreams in a fast-paced environment.
• A practical understanding of structured cabling, including Cat6/Cat6A installations, containment, testing and quality assurance.

It would be great if you also have:

• PRINCE2 Foundation or Practitioner, or equivalent.
• ITIL Foundation, or an equivalent service-management qualification.

SALARY & BENEFITS:

Starting salary of £32,000 with lots of scope to progress and grow within the division.
