Job description

IT Project Coordinator

We are a fast-growing and highly successful organization seeking an IT Project Coordinator.

Purpose of the job

In this role, you will support the delivery of a significant programme of IT projects that will transform our service delivery to customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Coordinate change control processes and change approval meetings.
  2. Ensure projects adhere to approved frameworks and maintain documentation appropriately.
  3. Maintain and monitor project plans to meet deadlines.
  4. Determine project changes.
  5. Provide administrative support as needed.
  6. Undertake project tasks, including research and creation of project documentation such as plans, tasks, and testing records.
  7. Assess and record project risks and issues, providing solutions where applicable.
  8. Organize and participate in stakeholder meetings, documenting and following up on actions and decisions.
  9. Build relationships with IT colleagues, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers to achieve project objectives.
  10. Keep stakeholders updated on progress and ensure they have access to necessary information and training.
  11. Coordinate technical and user testing, record issues and fixes, and arrange test sign-offs.
  12. Monitor project budgets, maintain records, and report variations to management.
Person Specification
Experience Required
  1. Experience working as part of a team delivering new systems and processes.
  2. Experience in project management tasks, especially planning, reporting, and documentation.
  3. Experience building relationships with colleagues, stakeholders, and third-party suppliers.
  4. Knowledge of project management processes and tools.
  5. Knowledge of housing management processes and systems.
  6. Knowledge of change management processes.
  7. Experience creating and maintaining technical and project records.
  8. Current knowledge of IT trends and cybersecurity issues.

Additional Information

Basic salary: £32,000 - £35,000 + excellent benefits.

Location: Based in Sevenoaks (Kent), 2 days in the office and 3 days remote per week.
