Job summary

Big Red Recruitment is seeking a Product Owner to take ownership of internal business systems across Finance, HR and Property Management. You’ll shape roadmaps, maximise system value and translate business needs into tangible improvements.

You’ll work with Finance, HR, Property and Tech stakeholders, manage third‑party suppliers and drive automation and change initiatives. The role is hybrid with 2 days in Coventry and a salary up to £50k per year.

Responsibilities

• Own and develop product roadmaps across a portfolio of internal business systems.
• Build strong relationships with Finance, HR, Property and Technology stakeholders.
• Understand business challenges and identify where existing products can solve them.
• Work closely with suppliers, keeping ahead of new features and influencing their roadmaps where possible.
• Identify opportunities to automate processes and remove unnecessary manual work.
• Work alongside Business Analysts and Project Managers to deliver larger change initiatives.
• Support the evaluation and selection of future platforms, including planned changes within the finance systems landscape.
• Become the internal product expert, understanding how changes to one system could impact the wider technology estate.

What we're looking for

You could already be working in Product Management, Product Ownership or Business Systems, or have progressed through an Application Support background and taken increasing ownership for product improvement.

You'll ideally bring experience of:

• Owning/managing finance and HR applications (ERP is a bonus)
• Creating and managing roadmaps.
• Working with third-party technology suppliers.
• Translating business needs into product improvements.
• Process improvement and automation.
• Managing stakeholders across different business functions.
• Challenging established ways of working and supporting organisational change.

The role offers a hybrid working setup with 2 days a week in Coventry and a top end salary of £50k.
