Job summary

Edbury Daley is partnering with a leading global IT procurement consultancy to hire an experienced procurement professional. You will cover IT procurement across categories, lead workstreams, and engage senior stakeholders to drive measurable commercial outcomes.

The role focuses on client engagements, category strategy, and supplier management, with a flexible model involving client-site, office, and home-based work. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in IT procurement, strategic sourcing or category management.
• Global IT procurement experience across IT categories.
• Deep subject-matter expertise in Enterprise Software, IT Services and/or Cloud & Hosting.
• Experience managing technology spend portfolios, ideally >$50m annually.
• Strong indirect procurement knowledge and complex sourcing delivery.
• Consulting experience or close collaboration with consulting organisations is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage teams across global client engagements.
• Develop and execute IT procurement and category strategies.
• Lead complex sourcing and commercial initiatives from opportunity identification to implementation.
• Conduct supplier research, market analysis and commercial assessments.
• Build robust data foundations and translate data into actionable insights.
• Identify opportunities to improve value and supplier performance.
• Track benefits and ensure delivery aligns with milestones.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders to understand requirements and priorities.
• Lead workshops and senior stakeholder discussions.
• Present recommendations and commercial insights to clients and internal teams.
• Support the growth of the wider consulting practice.
