Job summary

CVSVeterinary Group is seeking a dedicated IT Procurement professional in the United Kingdom to manage purchasing of IT equipment, software and services. You will work with vendors, negotiate pricing, manage contracts and ensure value, risk mitigation and cost savings year on year.

You will also assist with maintaining the contract repository, due diligence and onboarding, and support non-clinical procurement projects as needed.

Qualifications

• IT procurement experience required.
• Experience in multi-vendor procurement environments preferred.
• Familiarity with software licensing models (e.g., Microsoft 365).
• Understanding of data security, compliance and IT procurement regulations.

Responsibilities

• Gather IT requirements with stakeholders across clinical and non-clinical teams.
• Lead IT procurement projects: tender, evaluate, negotiate contracts, SLAs and pricing.
• Coordinate equipment delivery, installations, upgrades and changes.
• Monitor supplier performance, spend and contract expirations.
• Maintain procurement inbox and assist non-clinical procurement projects.
• Ensure purchases comply with internal policies and security standards.
