Job summary

Saab UK is seeking an IT Process Analyst to join our IT and Business Systems team. You will analyse and govern IT processes in line with ISO standards to support operational excellence, audit readiness, security, and compliance within a defence-grade environment.

The role involves documenting workflows, facilitating workshops, and driving continuous improvement across IT, Cyber Security, Engineering, and Operations.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IT Process Analyst, Business Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong working knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 20000, ISO 27001, ISO 9001).
• Experience supporting audits and maintaining evidence for compliance.
• Familiarity with ITIL and IT Service Management practices.
• Skilled in process mapping tools (Visio, Lucidchart, BPMN).
• Excellent communication skills, able to translate complex topics for diverse audiences.
• Experience with defence, aerospace, or other highly regulated industries.
• Exposure to platforms such as ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management.

The Role:

The IT Process Analyst will support Saab UK’s IT and Business Systems functions by analysing, improving, and governing IT processes in alignment with ISO standards. The successful candidate will champion structured, high-quality processes that support operational excellence, audit readiness, security, and compliance within a defence-grade environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Process Analysis & Continuous Improvement:

Analyse existing IT and business systems processes to identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.

Develop and maintain high-quality process documentation, including workflows, SOPs, and work instructions.

Facilitate stakeholder workshops to gather input and validate future-state processes.

Monitor process performance using KPIs, recommending improvements to support Saab’s high-standards culture of innovation and expertise.

ISO Standards & Compliance:

Ensure alignment with relevant ISO standards, including ISO 27001 (Information Security), and ISO 9001 (Quality Management).

Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, evidence, and corrective actions.

Maintain controlled documents in accordance with Saab’s quality and governance requirements.

Governance & Documentation:

Contribute to IT governance functions, including change management, risk assessments, and process assurance.

Maintain documentation with a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and traceability-reflecting Saab’s value of trust.

Stakeholder Engagement:

Work collaboratively across IT, Cyber Security, Engineering, HR, and Operations to ensure processes are practical and embedded.

Provide training and guidance to colleagues on process compliance, ISO requirements, and governance expectations.

Promote a culture of continuous learning and expertise, aligned with Saab’s core values.

Skills & Experience:
