We are pleased to announce an exciting opportunity at the Nutricia Liverpool site for a 12-month fixed-term role of Operational Technology Engineer to join our Industrial Systems team.

Role Mission

The mission of the Operational Technology Engineer role is to support the OT Manager in driving continuous improvements and creating a "Future Proof" technology backbone. This involves focusing on user experience and resilience.

About you

Key accountabilities, deliverables & KPIs, impact on business results

Unified Communications & Infrastructure

• WAN (Flexnet inc hardware and 3rd party management)
• LAN / WIFI (Switches / WLC / AP’s lifecycle & support management)
• Server / Comms rooms (including 3rd party support management)
• VM hosts / Nutanix (Management & lifecycle replacements and 3rd party support management)

Operation Technology

• Systems Management – oversee and maintain factory automation systems (Siemens)
• Process optimisation - collaborate with production teams to streamline processes utilising technology
• Cyber Security – Implement and maintain cyber security measures for OT systems
• Data Analysis – Analyse production data (PLCs) to identify trends, anomalies & areas for improvement (Siemens)
• PC’s, Terminals, PDA’s & Printers – manage all connected devices to ensure compliance and operational effectiveness

Functional

• Knowledge of factory IT & OT Infrastructure
• Emerging Technologies interest & awareness (Wi-Fi 6 / IOT / 5G / Edge)
• Project Management
• High level troubleshooting across Network / Infra / OT & Systems

Leadership

• Communication (able to articulate the value creation)
• Stakeholder (internal and external) engagement
• Proactive management and vision

Critical experience required

• Troubleshooting across Network / Infra / OT & Systems
