Job Description:

IT Network & Telecommunications Administrator

Salary: £36,000 - £48,000 per annum (depending on experience)

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm (40 hour week)

Location: Southampton office based

Please note that Garmin do not offer sponsorship, all applicants must have Right to Work status for UK.

Responsibilities

• Designs and develops complex, integrated solutions for Garmin’s network and telecommunications systems
• Performs cost analyses and vendor comparisons for projects
• Develops expertise on network & telecommunications technologies
• Communicates effectively about system operations
• Ensures compliance with SOX, PCI, and other regulations
• Manages capacity, redundancy, and security of systems
• Mentors less experienced IT Administrators
• Provides solutions to technical problems using root cause analysis
• Performs system upgrades and recommends improvements
• Coordinates system changes and participates in planning

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 2 years relevant experience
• Ability to solve technical problems independently
• Experience in implementing technology solutions
• Strong communication skills
• Understanding of IT Infrastructure, including Telephony systems like Avaya, SIP, Microsoft Teams Voice
